❝nedoko❞

Nedoko is the Japanese term for bed. This is actually a double-deck bed. I used to sleep in the top bunk—as proven by the (age-old) Kurapika, Tennis no Oujisama, and The way U are!Dong Bang Shin Ki (from [personal profile] aggysaur) posters—but since I got sick over a year ago, the bottom bunk (which was originally [personal profile] onew's) became mine.

I've personalized the bottom bunk a bit: you can see my Fuji stuffed toy peeking there; beside him are two small towers of books :P; on the wall are posters of SHINee (the one I won for answering the question regarding Key's crush) and of Super Junior (which came with the Philippine release CD). Reeza hasn't bothered taking the posters off the wall on my former bunk; but you can see Jonghyun, the stuffed cow [personal profile] fascinates gave her on her most recent birthday. :D

❝yane❞

Yane means roof. Today was a rainy day. I wanted to take a picture of our roof but that would mean me going out and getting drenched in the rain. I opted to take a picture of my neighbor's roof.

❝sakuya❞

Sakuya is Japanese for last night. This picture was taken last night when I had dinner with a few of my friends in college. It was a wonderful (and an awkward) dinner. I wish Lea was there, too, though. TT

❝kasa❞

That's the umbrella I use. These days, it's been raining so hard and I have to use that umbrella all the time. They said it's bad luck to open an umbrella inside your home but that umbrella was ruined -- the cloth removed from the frame. I had to sew it again.

❝rouka❞

Rouka is the Japanese for corridor. The classes for my second module started today and this was one of the corridors on the floor I was in. Coffee isn't exactly good for me but for reasons I shall skip, I chanced a cup and saw this corridor. It looks weird, doesn't it? Not your typical corridor. But what's typical? :D

❝piero❞

I HATE CLOWNS. I AM SO SCARED OF THEM. It all started with my dream a few years ago. It was my nephew's birthday party and we have clowns for entertainment. They weren't funny and I didn't laugh at their jokes. They got pissed of at me and chased me, throwing pies at me. Ever since, I've been scared of clowns.

I have no choice but use them for the next word. Piero came from the French word, pierrot which is a sad clown or a clown. Yakitake!!Japan has a character named Pierrot -- a clown judge.

❝tempi❞

Tempi is Japanese for oven. I'm not really a baker who does things from scratch—oh, how I wish I was!—but I do bake. Instant style, that is. Hehe. So anyway, this afternoon, I decided to bake a chocolate cake for no apparent reason. Haha. :D

❝kitte❞

My nephew is collecting stamps. These are Korean commemorative stamps that were given to him by his mother. Every time I received Christmas cards from Livejournal friends, he asks for the stamps of the letters. It's September already and in a few months, he'll be asking for those stamps again.

❝manga❞

Starting the game with a very, very simple word -- something that majority of my friends like to read. It was so hard to choose which manga to take a picture of. I considered the BL ones but I decided against it. They weren't that presentable. The manga in the picture is the fourth volume of Merupuri by Hino Matsuri.
